What to Wear When Cooking

Excerpt from Cooking

If you’re going to start to cook you should probably know what to wear first. First of all, you usually need  an apron to protect yourself from getting burned. Aprons cover your stomach and your chest. Once in a while it covers parts of your legs.
Another thing you need during cooking is an oven mitt. An oven mitt protects your hands from getting burned. Another thing to wear when cooking is a hairnet. Hairnets are very handy because it keeps hair from getting in your food.
Lastly, another handy thing to wear in cooking is gloves. This helps keep germs off your food. And those are just a few things you should wear when cooking.

A Chef's Vocabulary:
hairnet:something a cook puts over his or her head to keep hair from getting into the food.
oven mitt : something you put over your hand to protect it from burning.

apron:something you put on your body to protect it  from burning.
