My Weekend With My Dad

“Wake up! Wake up!” my dad called. I didn’t know that I was even supposed to wake up early today. I heard my dad yell “Wake up son we’re leaving!”
I answered “What?” with a groan. My dad asked me to get dressed and eat breakfast. Then, we quickly got in my dad’s huge big white truck and my dad started the engine.
The engine ran feebly but I was the only one to notice. My dad’s friend was with my dad since I woke up.  My dad’s friend gave me 50 dollars. Off we went! We went down Maple Road. It was such a majestic scenery. We kept going and I waved to my neighbors and they waved back. We got on the interstate 95 highway and we continued going.
The engine of the truck got more and more feeble and then suddenly, bang! The engine stopped.”I knew that there was something wrong with the engine!”my dad yelled . Good thing we were still moving. We stopped in the space between an exit and the highway and did everything we could.  My dad’s friend is named Joe. Dad poured some diesel out of the diesel fuel tank and Joe dipped his finger into the diesel and tasted the diesel. He told us that the diesel tasted sweet. My dad knew that it’s not the engine, it’s either the diesel or the fuel filter. We also found some junk in the diesel fuel that we poured out of the fuel tank. The junk was stuff like rusty screws and also dirt.
We got back into the truck and my dad started the engine. Good thing that it started because I wanted to keep on going. After ten minutes, we arrived at the warehouse where the refrigerator was. The workers put the refrigerator onto a cart and then onto a forklift. The workers put the ten ton refrigerator into the huge white truck it was so heavy that  the truck became shorter than its normal size. My dad got into his truck and we zoomed away. Lots of people drove recklessly on the highway for ten minutes but then there were good drivers. We didn’t want any more break downs so we went to the vehicle part store and the store was called Napa.
We got a new fuel filter and we spent one hour installing the new fuel filter. Then, we were done. We went down the highway and we went to my dad,s second friend’s house. My dad’s second friend’s name is Henry. We ate dinner at Henry’s house. The next day, my dad dropped the big, heavy refrigerator off to Joe’s butcher shop.
