Have your arrows ever hit the target but bounced off? If your dull tipped arrows can’t stick into your thick hunting target, you don’t have the right equipment.
If you want to be a very good archer then you want to have all the proper equipment. This includes: Archery gloves so your bow string won’t hurt your fingers, arm sleeves if you don’t have long sleeves, and of course, a bow and arrow. Another cool thing is you can have is a combo bow but that is for people who are advanced in archery. You’ll also need a target to practice your skills on.
You don’t just need the equipment, it has to be the right size for it to work. Here’s a way to see if your bow’s the right size.. If you can pull it past corner of your mouth then it’s probably a little bit small, if you can’t pull it to the corner of your mouth then it’s too big. Finally, if you pull it right to the corner of your mouth it’s just right. So that’s my little tip of advice about the equipment and sizes of equipment. Now let’s move on to the aiming and shooting.
