Diego S.

Dunk a Fish

“Vroom Vroom”, as the car started down the steep horizontal road,  as I saw a blur of a brown and white furred animal running. Then I smelled the delicious smell of pumpkin pie.
Then the car quickly came to a halt.  Next my mom said, “Diego, get your little brother out of the car."  We had all gotten out of the car. We were walking to the fair and I said, “There’s that smell from before.” Then I looked around the corner and
there was a baker making pies as fast as a cheetah running! We watched the close by pie eating contest. The contest was amazing like a person petting a tiger . Two  participants dropped out and it was only two battling it out, until the person in the lead dropped out too. The runner up had won the contest.  The contest was over! So the amount of pies the winner had eaten was 56 out of 100 pies. Amazing!!  We went to go do the games now.
There was one game that caught my eye, “The Dunk A Fish Game." I galloped to the game as I saw other people win the game before my eyes. The game was a really bright tangerine orange game that had a really bad fishy smell, but you would obviously  know that.  I wanted to play this exciting game and get a fish. So for a second, I watched other people win the game and be rewarded a fish.
Then I approached the game then a guy who looked like a fisherman said, “Are you going to play the game young boy?" Then the fisherman handed me three ping pong balls and said, “To play this game, you have to bounce one of the ping pong balls into the bowl and you win a fish.” Then with a quick motion, I bounced the ball,  “Ping, Pong,  Ping, Pong, Splash." “Yes I did it i, I  won the fish.”  The fisherman handed me the fish and I was so excited that I won a fish. Then I ran to my mom who was holding my little brother’s hand and was watching the costume parade.  I told my mom “I won the fish at the game over there” and my mom replied, “Cool Diego! Now watch the parade with us.”
