Ian H.

We were driving to a game in Newtown. My baseball team was there, my dad and other dads and the Nighthawk team.  I have gray pants, a green shirt, a green cap, and black bands that help me throw straight. The Newtown team that we were playing was the Nighthawks. They did not lose a game yet. I was not happy because if it was not for them we would be number 1# but right now we are number 2#.  When we arrived at the game we unpacked, I ran to the field and I warmed up and then the game started. I was top of the order I got ready to hit. After the catcher threw the ball down to second base I walked up to the plate and I was sweating and afraid because I can get struck out, I also remembered that I am in a hitting slump that means I have not been getting on base with hits. The pitcher threw the ball and BAM!!! I got a lead off double! I was so excited my heart was pounding like crazy! I ran to second and smiled. The next batter came, he got a RBI single. The next guy came, he got walked. The batter after that got a walk. Bases were loaded and we got a three run double!

The next batters got all out. I was pitching and I got everyone out on strike outs. I screamed Yes! We were batting again. We had a 123 inning for us and we were fielding, I was pitching one more inning. I let up only a single that’s it. We were batting and we got 5 runs on all hits. And we were fielding again Ian Nilsen was pitching he let up only one run. We were batting and we were batting we got a single another one then a RBI single. We were batting and I was up finally   And I had a 0-2 count and I got a double and a walk. I watched ball one, ball two, then ball ball three!, I swung and fouled off the pitcher threw the ball and I fouled off again. The count was full and I unloaded and BAM! It went over the fence! It was a 2 run home run! I was very very excited that I did a stomp on the base! everyone cheered as I ran the bases all the way to home. And after we got 10 more runs we were beating them by so much the game ended! I played tag in the playground then I packed up my stuff then I left.
