Diary Introduction
Dear Diary, July 3, 1607
John Smith Jr. here and my personality is adventurous, and I do some crazy things. Just like my dad Captain John Smith, he is 27. (Google) He is an adventurer and explorer who is helping the governor start a colony in Virginia. (History Alive) Currently I am staying with my friend Dartano while my dad gets settled. I heard he has a big house and has a lot of food. My dad is becoming a leader in Jamestown (History Alive) and has problems with the natives. (Brain Pop) The natives were mad because they wanted their land back. They believe we dug into the earth and cut down their trees. That is why they are so mad. I would be mad too. I am going to Jamestown to help my Dad with my friend Dartano.
Dartano and thou have a secret plane, A.K.A flying machine. When in Europe we found Leonardo da Vinci’s, Dartano’s great grandfather, flying machine hanger and combined his flying machine plans to build a plane.
At bedtime, Dartano and I leave for colonies. I said, “to the hanger,” a hanger is where we store the flying machine. The adventure begins the second we fire the giant crossbow and soar into the sky. Thou and Dartano go for takeoff as soon as we pull the lever and we lift off into the night. Two hours later we began to go down. A short ten minutes later I realized we were landing in Spain. We land and an orphan was in the old hanger. His name is Rufus. We got supplies and Rufus joined our team. The team loaded Leo’s flying machine and at midnight we fly into the night once again. After a twelve hour flight, we sight land and I yell, “land hooooooo” and Dartano said, “gear down.” And I said, “How do you do that?” Dartano said, “You just uhhh uhhhh uhhh that is why we have a hanger to land in. “This is the new world. We do not have a hanger or landing gear.” said Rufus. I said, “Thee forgot to put landing gear, Dartano, ye cokerol head!!!!!!!” We made it to the colonies, a little rough but way smoother than taking a ship.
