Candies
“People who eat a little chocolate every day are 40 percent
less likely to have a heart attack or stroke,” according to a study in the European Heart Journal. Dark chocolate
causes weight gain, but a little dark chocolate can’t hurt. We should keep the
candies because dark chocolate is good for you, Mars and Hershey makes popular
candies, and dark chocolate helps you live longer, and better.
The first reason the candies should be kept is that dark
chocolate has antioxidants and flavonoids that help with heart disease. Also
dark chocolate can help undo memory loss, which is very helpful in emergencies
like concussions or any head injuries. A few pieces a day are good for you.
Like dark chocolate open ups blood vessels so blood can run through easily. And
some candies like dark chocolate is one of the healthier candies. So we need,
candies in our lives.
Another reason is some candies are very popular like how
12.6 million dollars are spent on making candies like chocolate. And in my
opinion hundreds of people will lose their jobs. Moving on, M&M’s are the
2nd most popular candies for Halloween. As i say this, I’m realizing people
will be mad if we discontinue their favorite candies. Americans consume about
25 pounds of sugar per capita per year.
My final reason for why we should keep the candies is that
candy can help you with your life. A British study found “that a little bit of
any kind of chocolate can help a cough.” On a test peppermint will help you
focus. In addition cotton candy restores blood vessels. Last but not least
candy can help you live longer.
Eating sugary foods, like candy, causes dopamine to be
released. Dopamine has an addictive quality and people can become addicted to
candy. You might think this is bad in all possible cases... but... no candies
like cotton candy restore blood vessels, which is good for the heart. And this
is why we should keep the candies. I hope this is all I need to convince you.
