Excerpt from Beginner’s Guide to Origami

Did you know that Origami has been going on for thousands of years? In this book you will learn how to do modern day Origami, and if you practice enough with the Base, Structure, and Decoration you could be a Origami master in no time.

The BSD is important to use. BSD stands for Base, Structure, and Decoration. The Base can be the start or the whole thing of another Origami project, like take a regular puppet and fold some of it. That’s when you use the Structure by adding a few folds like folding some ears. Then you Decorate it. You don’t need to use the BSD but it is a good.
