A sports car is a special kind of car that can drive really fast. There are certain features that make it different from a regular car that you drive every day. A sports car is always a two-seater  or a four-seater. One important feature is that it has turbo speed,  which helps it go super fast so it can win the  race. . A turbo can boost an engine's horsepower without making it too heavy.  This is a huge benefit that makes turbos so popular.  Another feature  is that a sport car is  low to the ground.  Actually, they have wide tires to help them go fast  and slide on the  oval pin-shaped turns.   The firm spring supports the brakes.

Lots of people have sports cars and many race them in a rally.  About 300 Nascar fans go to watch and millions of people attend the races.  They have to go around an oval-shaped track 200 times. Do you believe that the average speed is 170 mph? They go both slow and fast. It takes 20 seconds to refill the gas tank and change the  wheels. It takes eight people to do all of  it at once. Another fact is that millions of people race every day. Rallies take place in public or private roads.

One car is the Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray. It was driven in 1970. It looks like a shark.  The top speed is 150 mph. It was the fastest American car in 1970.  Another one is the Swamp Rat. People used it a lot because it was a good car back then. It was  raced in early rallies.  Another fact is that the Hennessey Venom Gt  is the fastest car on earth. The Hennessey Venom Gt is the picture on the top.  The second fastest car is called the Viper X10. It is very fast. It is used in a lot of races. Did you know the Vipper X10 was called the StrVipper in 2012?
