The Corn Pit

Me and my friend Jillian ran up the hill. “Aw!” we exclaimed. The hay maze was closed.  I was so upset I felt like crying, but I knew why it was closed.  It was going to rain because the sky was the color of smoke. We went to check out the animals.  It smelled terrible.  There were peacocks, but their feathers did not spread out.  Then Jillian remembered there was a corn pit. I also hoped it was open because the rain seemed to pass and it was.

I went to take off my shoes and to climb in. We made beds out of corn and corn angels.  I got corn stuck in my ear and my nose.  Then we got out and got our shoes back on. We went to Jillian's house for a playdate.  It was an awesome day!
